Oklahoma women sign high school players from Oklahoma, Texas

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — The University of Oklahoma women's basketball team has signed high school basketball players from Oklahoma and Texas. Head coach Sherri Coale says Chelsea Dungee of Sapulpa and Nancy Mulkey of Cypress, Texas, signed with OU on Wednesday. Dungee is a 5-foot-11 inch guard who averaged 16.5 points per game as a junior last season. Mulkey is a 6-foot-9 inch center who averaged 10.3 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.7 blocks per game as a junior in helping Cypress Woods High School to its first state championship in program history.
